PRIOR LEARNING:

It is ESSENTIAL that your dog has been introduced to a RED KONG at least one week before you start your introduction course. You should allow your dog to eat treats from the RED KONG This will ensure your dog builds an impulse to find the Kong toy.

NOTE: Red Kong’s have a unique scent. Dogs cannot see the colour red.

PRIOR TRAINING:

While dogs don't need a lot of prior training to begin scentwork, having a foundation in basic obedience, a good reward system, and comfort in different environments will make the training process smoother and more effective.
